High-Energy Days, September 29th – October 5th 2014

Hello Everyone,

This week will be very “low-key” energetically until Friday, when the energy will start to get very powerful.  This powerful energy will continue throughout the following week, with some incredibly strong high-energy days… so you can look at the “quiet” week ahead with an attitude of gratitude:  be grateful for the time to rest, recharge, reflect and make plans.  Forcing issues or pushing ahead with plans during the next few days will likely lead to frustration or feelings of being “blocked”, so appreciate the quieter moments and try to wait until Friday to go “full steam ahead”.

We’ve also just finished 4 high-energy days in a row, which doesn’t happen very often!  However, this is all the more reason to use the coming days for productive rest:  meditate, practise Reiki (or other energy healing/practise), reflect and prepare for the upcoming high-energy days.  It is also very important to remember to stay grounded when the energy is so strong.  Take time today to reflect upon how you have been feeling over the past 4 days, as this will indicate your state of grounding.  If you’ve been feeling agitated, frustrated, unfocused, forgetful, or have been accident-prone, this indicates that your grounding is either weak or poor.  If you’ve been feeling energised, focused and have been accomplishing tasks and goals, your grounding is fine!  If you would like to strengthen or maintain a good sense of grounding, you are welcome to read my article “Tips for Grounding” which can be found on this blog.

So, let’s take a detailed look at what we can expect this week.

 

Monday September 29th we start the week with the energy focused on bringing a greater sense of balance and harmony to relationships.  There are great opportunities today for healing issues within partnerships, so make good use of this energy:  take time for meaningful and compassionate communication and take decisive steps in strengthening partnerships.  Creative expression is also strong today, so allow yourself to open up and express your creativity!

Tuesday September 30th the energy will be rather “low-key”, so rather than starting new projects or pushing ahead with goals, it’s a good idea to go with the flow.  Make use of this quieter time by setting aside time for meditation, reflection and balancing yourself through Reiki (or other energy practise).

Wednesday October 1st we start the month with another “quiet” day, energetically speaking.  Just as yesterday, it’s better to rest and gather your energy rather than pushing anything.

Thursday October 2nd most of the day the energy will be rather “quiet”, so as with yesterday it’s better to just go with the flow today.  The energy will start to increase towards evening, as we approach the high-energy “Master 11” vibration of tomorrow.

Friday October 3rd is a very high-energy day!  According to numerology, today is considered to be a Master “11” Vibration day (3+1+0+2+0+1+4 = 11). This is significant as it brings with it a powerful energy of change, creation, manifestation and OPPORTUNITY.  It’s a great day to take action, start new projects and /or work on your current goals and projects.  You can make the most of this energy by taking time to write down your goals (in their completed form) and then spend at least 15 minutes visualising each goal in its completed form.  You can make this more powerful by using your other senses during your visualisation.  If you are a Reiki 2 (or above) practitioner, this is a fantastic day to work on your Reiki affirmations.

This “11” vibration energy is focused in the physical, so you may feel a bit off-balance in other areas (relationships, creativity, the emotions etc.).  If this the case for you, take time some quiet time to ground and re-balance.

Saturday October 4th is another very high-energy day with the focus on personal transformation and the event of Mercury turning retrograde until the end of this month (October 25th).  In the area of personal transformation, it is important to let go of patterns, habits, mind-sets, relationships, and situations etc. that no longer serve your highest good.  As we let go of these things, we allow the space for new energy to come flooding in to our lives, leading to transformation.  The emotions will also be extra-sensitive today, so be aware of how you react to people and situations.  If you feel yourself becoming overly emotional, take time for meditation and reflect upon what was triggered within you and why.  This also provides an opportunity to heal and release old issues.  Ideally, you should try to start today with a full Reiki self-treatment and/or a practise such as yoga, tai chi etc.

Personal vitality should also be strong today, which assists us in taking action and making changes.  You may also feel like using this fiery energy to do something different today:  have fun, have an adventure, let yourself be free!  The intuition will also be especially strong today, so pay attention to your inner-voice and listen to your “gut instinct”.

During the time of Mercury retrograde, communication of all types (email, letters, conversations etc.) can become difficult or muddled.  Be aware of this so that you can take steps to prevent any problems:  back-up computer files, confirm appointments, plans and travel arrangements and pay attention to how you express yourself.  Make sure you express yourself clearly and also make sure to listen and pay attention!  Try to avoid starting important projects or making big purchases during this time and don’t force any issues. However, the time of Mercury retrograde also has its positive side:  it’s a very good time for reflection, taking stock of your current situation, making plans and completing current projects.  It’s also a good time for reflecting on your relationships and how you can bring more harmony and balance to them.

Mercury retrograde can really stir things up, so be aware of this.  The things that are brought to the surface for you are there so that you can learn the lesson, heal, release and move forward on your path.  Try to make the most of this time.

Sunday October 5th is a high-energy day when the intuition will be strong and taking action is strongly supported, especially when it comes to following your intuition.  The theme of transformation is also supported, with opportunities to make changes in order to nurture and strengthen parent-child relationships, partnerships and also the relationship that you have with your SELF.  There are also great opportunities for making changes and adjustments that will allow you to increase abundance.

Tips for Grounding

Grounding can be simply described as being centred, present and level-headed. This state exists when have a strong and clear connection with Earth energy (“chi”).  In order to be grounded, the chi needs to be able to flow freely up through the legs to the area of the first (or sacral) chakra where it can then flow through the chakras/along meridians to the rest of the body’s energy system.

When grounding is healthy and strong, it results in one being more patient, practical and self-disciplined.  Emotionally, there is more balance and calm.  Personal vitality is good.  When one’s grounding is weak, it manifests as being forgetful, accident-prone, unfocused, impractical and/or unbalanced and often the feeling of lacking in vitality.   Grounding is something that most of us need to work on and maintain, so here are a few ways in which this can be done:

  • Spend some time in nature, ideally enjoying a physical activity.  However, even just 10 minutes sitting in the park, breathing deeply and evenly while you intend or imagine that you are drawing in chi can be very beneficial.
  • Do a grounding meditation.   If your mind is particularly “busy”, try a guided meditation for grounding so that you can more easily stay focused.  There are many good meditations you can try, so sample a few and find one that you really enjoy.  You’re welcome to try my guided meditation for Grounding and Energising, which is freely available by clicking on “Sounds” under the “About Us” tab on this website, or by clicking on the SoundCloud button at the bottom of the page.
  • Strengthen your first chakra (located at the perineum).  You can do this by visualising your first chakra as a ball of red light.  As you breathe in, imagine the ball of light glowing and growing, becoming brighter and more brilliant.  When you exhale, simply allow the breath to leave your body.  You can do this daily (ideally in the morning, for a good start to the day!) for 5-10 minutes.
  • Learn an energy practise.  Reiki and other forms of energy healing, yoga, tai chi and qigong are all examples of energy practises.
  • If you are a Reiki practitioner, you can do wonders for your grounding by taking just 10-15 minutes per day to apply Reiki to your first chakra, the legs and feet.

Surfaces that will allow your body to ground include:

  • Sand (beach)

  • Bare soil
  • Concrete and brick (as long as it’s not painted or sealed)
  • Ceramic tile

Even indoors, and while flying, there are ways to help you stay grounded.  Touching the faucet with one hand while shaving with the other helps you ground. And when flying, you can take off your shoes and place your feet (bare or with socks) on the steel struts of the chair in front of you, as this too will help you stay grounded. There are also grounding pads you can use to sleep or sit on, which can be particularly beneficial if you live in a high-rise building.

Exercising barefoot outdoors is one of the most wonderful, inexpensive and powerful ways of incorporating grounding into your daily life. You can also simply take off your shoes as much as you can when you’re outdoors to take advantage of these natural grounding opportunities.”

High Energy Days, September 22nd – 28th 2014

Hello Everyone,

We have a week of high-energy days ahead, with the Autumn Equinox on Tuesday (though in some parts of the world, the Equinox falls on the 22nd), a New Moon combined with Master Energy on Wednesday and lots of high-energy days in between! To have this many high-energy days in one week is quite a treat, but be aware that it is very important to remain grounded and balanced otherwise the strong energy can cause you to feel agitated and/or frustrated. To ensure that you make the most of the light, bright energy coming in this week, try to start every day with an energy practise: a quick Reiki self-treatment, yoga, tai chi or a grounding meditation. You can use any grounding meditation that works well for you, or you can try my guided meditation for grounding and energising (click on either “Sounds” or my SoundCloud link).

Let’s take a detailed look at what we can expect this week:

Monday September 22nd we start the week with a high-energy day, with Pluto turning “direct” after being retrograde since mid-April, giving a nice boost of energy to the areas of transformation, new discoveries, spiritual practises and business partnerships. The intuition is also especially strong today, so listen to your inner-guidance and take time to reflect upon your process of transformation: see what you need to release (habits, patterns, fears etc.) in order to further this process. The energy will increase as the day goes on, as we approach the Autumn Equinox…. a time which strongly supports transformation.

Tuesday September 23rd is a VERY high-energy day, the day of the Autumn Equinox. The Equinox is all about balance and the beginning of a new cycle of energy, and you’ll find that the “seeds” of transformation that you plant within the next couple of months will very likely result in great progress and success. Here are some things that you can do to make the most of this energy:
Reflect: The time of the Equinox is ideal for reflecting upon what we need to heal, release and change in order to transform and move forward on our true life-paths.

Re-balance: The energy has been very “full on” for the past few months, so now is the time to re-balance. Think about any areas of your life or projects that you haven’t been putting much energy into: now is the time to either re-energise these areas/projects and take action, or let go of them and re-focus your attention and energy. It’s also a good time to reflect upon your own state of balance: physical, emotional, mental and energetic and what you can do to create or strengthen balance in these areas.

Action: The shift in energy will help resolve old issues and remove obstacles and blockages. If you’ve been waiting for a good time to take action, you should find that now is quite favourable.

The intuition is still very strong today, so make sure to set aside time for meditation. In moments of inner-silence we create the space to receive guidance and inspiration!

I also recommend making time for a full Reiki self-treatment today (or you can receive an energy-healing session from another practitioner). There is a strong energy of healing, release and balance, so much can be achieved today in terms of healing.

Wednesday September 24th is a VERY high-energy day a VERY high-energy day! This is due to it being both a New Moon as well as a “22 Master Vibration” day (2+4+9+2+0+1+4 =22). According numerology, “22” is considered to be the “Master Builder”, so the energy of today is fantastic for starting new projects and furthering work on existing projects and goals (building your future). This is a day to take action, so be sure to make the most of it! It’s also a great day to work on manifesting your goals, so ensure that you set aside some time to sit quietly and visualise each of your goals in their completed forms. To make this exercise more effective, try to use as many of your senses as possible (feel, smell, hear… and most of all, intend) when you visualise. If you are a Reiki 2 (or above) practitioner, it’s an especially powerful day to work on your Reiki affirmations.

Today we have the New Moon occurring in Libra. The New Moon is all about new beginnings and Libra places emphasis on the areas of balance, creativity and fresh starts. This is a “super charged” day for taking action and new starts!!! The intuition will also be very strong today, so use it for guidance if you have any moments of uncertainty. There is great potential for creative inspiration and expression, so allow yourself the time and space to tap into these areas. Remember, with the strong energy of today it is very important to stay grounded and balanced… and remember to be patient with others today, as all of us are affected by the energy but not everyone has the awareness of how to use this energy.
To more fully tap into the energy of this New Moon, you can do your own meditation or you can try the following one:

Sit quietly and comfortably, with the hands resting on the knees (palms facing up), breathing deeply and evenly, whilst contemplating the Moon. Imagine that with every in-breath, your up-turned hands draw in a bright, silvery light from the Moon. See the light enter your hands, travel up to your shoulders, and then to the centre of the chest (where it collects in the heart chakra). This light at the centre of the chest then spreads throughout your body. Continue breathing in the light, spreading it through your body, for as long as it feels right for you. (When you exhale, just allow the breath to leave the body). When you feel/visualise that your entire body is filled with this silvery light, you can then try expanding this light throughout your aura, and beyond.

If you are a Reiki 2 (or above) practitioner, you can sit quietly with the Moon in view (ideally outdoors) and send Reiki to it. Sit quietly and comfortably, prepare your hands for sending Reiki, and draw your 3 Reiki symbols over the Moon. You would then use the Reiki 2 technique of ‘Beaming’, with the hands ‘aimed’ at the Moon. In this way, you can tap directly into these lunar energies.

Thursday September 25th the energy will be a bit more settled compared to the past couple of days, but it will still be a high-energy day with most of the energy focused in the area of spirituality. The intuition is also very strong, allowing moments of insight and breakthroughs in the expression of your spiritual path. Make sure that you set aside time for meditation: sit quietly and comfortably, breathe deeply and evenly with the attention focused on the breath. In quieting the mind we are able to receive guidance and insight… make sure that you take time to do this regularly!

Friday September 26th is a high-energy day filled with light, bright energy. The intuition is strong and creativity is flowing with lots of potential for great ideas and receiving inspiration. It’s also a good idea to take action, especially if this action is inspired by intuitive guidance.

Saturday September 27th the energy will be strong and positive, focused mainly in the areas of relationships, creativity and personal transformation. Listen to your intuition for guidance in improving relationships and your sense of personal and creative expression. It’s also a good idea to pay attention to the more material/physical today by working on manifesting/increasing prosperity and abundance in your life.

Sunday September 28th the energy will be flowing and positive, especially in the areas of creativity and creative expression and the intuition will continue to be stronger than usual. The theme of personal transformation also continues, so take time to reflect upon what old patterns, relationships etc. need to be changed or released in order to for you to move forward. Listen to your intuition and make sure to surround yourself with people and circumstances that support/nurture your process of transformation.
