Hello Everyone,

After a weekend of Autumnal Equinox energy, we have yet more interesting and exciting energy coming up this week. The highlights include the Full Moon in Aries on Tuesday and Pluto turning “direct” on Sunday. Very positive and active energy, with an overall emphasis on transformation! Please read on for details of what to expect and how to best use the energy for your highest good:

Monday September 24th the week begins with a high-energy day. Following yesterday’s Autumn Equinox, we’ll still be experiencing this energy, though not as intensely. The main themes of the Equinox are as follows: for the next month, we will experience the dominant theme of “balance”, and working to create a harmonious balance in the following: relationships, creativity, action and rest, feminine and masculine energies. Take time to observe your state of balance and open yourself to making changes. There is great potential for personal transformation, but you need to be willing to let go of what no longer serves you (habits, patterns, fears, objects etc.). This willingness to change and let go accelerates the transformational process, whilst also making it much easier!

Tuesday September 25th is a very high-energy day when we experience the Full Moon in Aries. Any Full Moon is a good time to release or make adjustments, but the fiery influence of Aries places extra emphasis on the areas of initiative, assertiveness, leadership, and connecting with/expressing more fully the energies of the first and second chakras. Remember that Aries Full Moon energy is active, so it’s important to consciously use the energy otherwise you may find yourself feeling restless or agitated.

To make the most of today’s Full Moon energy, try doing a special meditation. You can do your own meditation, or choose to meditate on all you have to be grateful for in your life, or you can do a Full Moon meditation in the following way:

Sit quietly and comfortably, with the hands resting on the knees (palms facing up), breathing deeply and evenly, whilst contemplating the Moon. Imagine that with every in-breath, your up-turned hands draw in a bright, silvery light from the Moon. See the light enter your hands, travel up to your shoulders, and then to the centre of the chest (where it collects in the heart chakra). This light at the centre of the chest then spreads throughout your body. Continue breathing in the light, spreading it through your body, for as long as it feels right for you. (When you exhale, just allow the breath to leave the body). When you feel/visualise that your entire body is filled with this silvery light, you can then try expanding this light throughout your aura, and beyond.

If you are a Reiki 2 (or above) practitioner, you can sit quietly with the Moon in view (ideally outdoors) and send Reiki to it. Sit quietly and comfortably, prepare your hands for sending Reiki, and draw your 3 Reiki symbols over the Moon. You would then use the Reiki 2 technique of ‘Beaming’, with the hands ‘aimed’ at the Moon. In this way, you can tap directly into these lunar energies. Of course, you can use any method of sending Reiki by distance, so go with whatever you prefer.

In addition to the Full Moon themes mentioned earlier, the areas of creative expression and healing also get lots of support today. If you’ve been experiencing the following: lack of direction in life, inability to move forward, indecisiveness, lack of focus, creative blockages, diminished libido or any other indications of blocked/slow first and second chakras, it’s an excellent idea to set aside time today for healing these areas and getting the energy moving again. If you are a Reiki (or other energy) practitioner, take time for a self-treatment, focusing extra time on placing the hands on the first and second chakras, legs and feet.

Wednesday September 26th the energy will be gentler, not as intense as recently. However, the Aries Full Moon themes of initiative, assertiveness, leadership, and connecting with/expressing more fully the energies of the first and second chakras will still be felt. Take time to reflect upon these areas and what changes/adjustments you can make in order to create a healthier, more balanced state. As with yesterday, take time for a healing process the focuses on clearing blockages and getting the energy flowing in the first/second chakras and legs.

Thursday September 27th we can expect bright, active energy with great potential for applying this energy to relationships, creative expression and self-improvement/self-awareness. As this energy is “yang” (male), it’s a day for action and physical activity. Do something new or fun in these areas in order to bring in a big dose of fresh energy!

Friday September 28th the focus is on committed partnerships, and healing any old issues/imbalances that are hindering the relationship or preventing it from being taken to the next level. Smooth communication is also well-aspected today, so it’s a good idea to take time for honest, compassionate and constructive dialogue.

Saturday September 29th we can expect a day of gentle, flowing energy. Rather than trying to accomplish many tasks, don’t over-do things or push yourself too hard. Just “go with the flow” as much as possible today.

Sunday September 30th with finish the week (and the month!) with a day of positive and powerful energy. Today we have Pluto turning “direct” after being retrograde since April 22nd. The period of Pluto retrograde was an ideal time for reflection on the themes of transformation, release, personal power and letting go of that which no longer serves your highest good. Now that Pluto has turned “direct”, it’s the perfect time to take action with any plans and insights gained during the retrograde period, especially anything to do with “release”. By letting go of that which no longer serves our highest good, we create the space for new, fresh, positive energy to flow into various areas of our lives. This includes letting go of possessions that you no longer use/need or that no longer bring a positive energy into your life, letting go of habits and patterns and letting go of toxic relationships.

It’s also time to reflect upon some practical issues in order to take action with plans and goals: putting finances in order, living life with more focus on “service to others” rather than “service to self”, and doing work that you find fulfilling. Pluto’s theme of “transformation” also applies to relationships and improving your skills at communicating on a deep, honest level (and encouraging this in your partner, too) so as to deepen and strengthen connections.

In the mental/emotional area, reflect upon the tools that you have to deal with stress, anxiety, upset etc. Are you using your tools effectively? It’s important to have something that you can use anytime and anywhere, so that you can quickly calm and re-balance yourself during challenging moments. For example: meditation, visualisation techniques, breathing techniques, Reiki etc. If you don’t have a “tool”, then get one! Find something that works well for you, and then do it. It’s time for action, breaking old patterns and taking responsibility for your own process of transformation!

Wishing all of you a wonderfully empowering week ahead!

Many blessings,

Chantal
